I have been "Tagged" by Apala Sengupta @ What's in a Name!!! Thanks Apala!!
Here are the tag rules:
1. You must post the rules.
2. Answer the questions the tagger set for you in their post and then create ten new questions to ask the people that you have tagged.
3. Tag ten people and link to them on your post.
4. Let them know you've tagged them!
What Apala wanted to know:
1. What is the first think that comes to your mind when you hear the word 'Black'?
Ans: Starry Night! I lived at a hill station for quite a long time. There you can still see stars in the sky. I have spent lots of nights sitting at my door step and looking up at it!
2. Who is the most important person in your life and why?
Ans: My Mom, of course! She gave birth to me, has taken care of me through thick and thin, always put my needs first… List goes on. But mostly because she has been my best friend throughout and she still puts up with my tantrums.
3. What is/will be your expectation from a relationship with your partner?
Ans: I can get very emotional about the smallest things in life. If he takes care of those little things, then he can get away with everything else.
4. If you had not been in the profession that you are in today, what would have chosen and why?
Ans: I love to dance and would have loved to do it for a living – given an opportunity.
5. Name something that you do when you are alone and wouldn't do when you are with people.
Ans: Cry. I never cry in front of people – only into my pillow when I am alone.
6. One crazy thing that you have done in life.
Ans: There’s a whole bunch of crazy things that I have done and cannot list just one. What can I say - I had a busy time growing up with four elder brothers at home and a bunch of hooligans at school/college.
7. What are you afraid of?
Ans: Snakes & burning to death
8. Any regrets, however big or small it maybe?
Ans: Yes. There are two actually and both are HUGE.
9. What would you do if you had a million dollars?
Ans: Put it in FD and live off it – occasionally travel the world!
10. Would you rather have the power to become invisible or the power to read minds? Why?
Ans: Power to read minds… sometimes I just wish I knew what someone is thinking.
11. A favourite quote.
Ans: “My dear, I don't give a damn.” - Margaret Mitchell, Gone With the Wind. That’s what I often say too.

Well Mohur first of all please forgive me for being so late actually I was at rig for last 15 days. But nevertheless, here I'm with all the answers..
ReplyDeleteQ:When and why did you start Blogging?
A:Actually I'm writing diaries since I was in 6th class. But when I discovered that I may be not the only one who has access to it (my mums is a spy) I shifted to the virtual world, though for me the diary stuff is still cool.
Q: Do you comment on the blogs for increasing your readership or when you genuinely feel like reacting?
A:I do it when I feel like doing it. Moreover i don't want anyone to go through my pathetic writes by giving 'em a way to reach there.
Q:Do your friends & family know about your blog & do they follow?
A:My mums know and she has keen interest in my diaries and stuff but lucky for me she is from the times where computers were not popular and she still lives in there. Though I really feel my diary had a password or something.
Q:What is the one thing you would like to change in your life?
A:I'm AWESOME..right..
No..I don't want to change a thing..however I won't mind living in a private galaxy of which I'm the king along with all the gadgets and gizmos. (Do you really want to go into niceties of how weird my thoughts are?)
Q:What is the most memorable moment of your life?
A:When I found out that I have superpowers in using chits and since then it has been an extraordinary life for me. True Story ;-)
On a serious note there is one such moment when I was punished at school and then a few minutes later one more boy was punished and we both discussed our life plans and we are best of the buddies now. He is my only friend till date.
Q:What is your favourite song – the one which you hum often?
A:Well this is a tricky one..there are many songs which I hum..mostly it depends on the mood I'm in..can't specify the song..
Q:Do you have an Idol – a Role model?
A:Of course I have. It is me. I have played many roles though I'm not a model. At a time I played a pirate when my mums asked what happened to my eye which was kinda black after a fight I was in. I was in 7th I think.
Then there was a time when I played a dumb guy to impress a girl at my college and she actually fell for it. And we are best of friends till date :-)
Though on a serious note..
I like Adolf Hitler, the powerful one..
It is one of his quotes:
"Achieving height in life means from where everyone else seems worthless and helpless."
Then there is Swami Vivekananda and everything He has said. He is like God to me.
My bade mama..he is one who really inspires me.
Q:Hard work or Fate. And why?
A:Hard work?? I only know one thing which is hard and I'm dead sure it is not work ;-)
You know what I mean..(please don't hate me..it is not what you think it is :-O)
And Fate..I make it for myself everyday
So for the sake of humanity I'd stick to hard..work..yeah..that's the guy for me..hard work it is because I never did one. I'd like to try doing it someday.
Q:Where do you go/what do you do when you feel like being left alone?
A:I'm never alone. I have books. They are always for the rescue. You can sit at the beach or at the banks of the river or if you are lucky to have a job profile like me, in the mid sea with your legs spread on deck a book in your hand and nature displaying her beauty for you only.
Who says they feel alone..when you have that much awesomeness you can't feel alone..ever :-)
Q:Apocalypse is fast approaching and you are in charge of deciding which one book is to be saved… which book would you choose?
A:I don't know may be Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's collection.
It is a great read.
if you say Indian I'd save Munhsi Premchandra's Mansarovar.
Q:Friends are the family we get to choose. Do you agree?
A: Totally! Friends are the one with whom you share everything and I'm lucky enough to have that one friend in my life.
